East-German Tomatosauce (Recipe Card)

Back in the German Democratic Republic (GDR) many ingredients and herbs could be rare. So people tried to improvise their food as well as possible. This ketchup-based tomatosauce is easy to prepare, low-cost, and children love it. I got this recipe from my grandmother and modified it over the years to get the best taste out of it.

My recipes are written on 4x6 inch recipe cards in PDF format. In addition, this recipe contains a landscape picture of the area I come from. Feel free to make your physical copy. Double-sided printing is recommended.
